Cork’s 96FM continues Cork City FC deal

A new two year partnership between Cork City FC and Cork’s 96FM sees the station continue to be the club’s official radio partner.

corks96fmThe move follows a year-long partnership between the two parties for the 2012 season.

Kieran McGeary, Chief Executive of Cork’s 96FM and it’s sister station C103, said: “We are delighted to have agreed to a further two year partnership with Cork City FC. The club is growing all the time and as the Number 1 radio station in Cork we are keen to lend our support and be part of that success.

“We very much look forward to working closely with Cork City FC over the coming two years.”

Cork City FC Chief Executive Tim Murphy told CorkCityFC.net that he was very pleased that the partnership had been extended, saying: “We have a very good working relationship with 96FM, and we were very pleased with the support they gave the club in 2012

“Like many of our partners, 96FM is a strong, Cork brand, and we are delighted to be associated with them. Having spoken with them throughout the season, I know they were pleased with how 2012 went also, and I am pleased that both parties were keen to extend the partnership.”
