Irish television and radio presenter Craig Doyle is to cover Ryan Tubridy’s show on 2fm for two days, Monday and Tuesday.
He’s a regular on television with his RTÉ One show but this will be the first time he’s hosted a show on the national radio station.
The Dublin born presenter started his media career over in England on BBC Radio Suffolk, before working his way on to BBC and commercial television. He’s also previously worked at Capital Radio in London.
Speaking about the temporary show, Doyle said: “I’m very excited about getting my own show on 2fm, even if it’s only for two days!”
It’s not known if station bosses have any plans to use Doyle on a regular basis for more cover work, or if the two shows are ahead of a more permanent position at the station.
