All this week, Today FM is celebrating the release of The Next Day album by David Bowie – his first new album in ten years.
The week long series of events started on Monday, with a special documentary from Ian Dempsey covering the highlights of the Thin White Duke’s music career.
At midnight on Thursday 7th March, the station will have the Irish radio premiere of the new album first and in full right after Paul McLoone’s broadcast from the Meteor Choice Prize Live Event – in which the station is a founding partner.
And to round out the week on Friday 8th March they’re giving listeners the chance to be the first to have a deluxe edition of “The Next Day” with free competitions across the day.
The station is also playing tracks from the album every day on The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show and Paul McLoone’s show.
