The rights to broadcast exclusive radio commentary on all ten British and Irish Lions games has been secured by RTÉ Sport.
Donal Lenihan, Michael Corcoran and former Australian rugby players and experts will provide coverage as reporters and commentators for the games.
Head of RTÉ Sport, Ryle Nugent told rte.ie; “RTÉ Sport is delighted to be able to offer rugby fans the opportunity to hear live coverage of the Lions games in the coming weeks.
“With Michael Corcoran and Donal Lenihan in Australia we will bring the listener right to the heart of the action for every match and up to date with all the news, views and analysis across all our radio platforms. With so many Irish players involved in the Lions squad it promises to be a tour to remember.”
Four of the games will be broadcast live on 2fm whilst Radio 1 Extra will pick up the remaining six.
