€50,000 raised for charity by FM104’s The Gig

FM104’s The Gig has raised over €50,000 for charity after the event last Friday night in Dublin.

The annual music night was held in conjunction with the ISPCC where headliners The Coronas entertained the jam packed crowd with hits like ‘Grace Don’t Wait’, ‘Tony Was An Ex-Con’, and ‘Heroes and Ghosts’.

The Stunning, Ryan Sheridan and rising stars Original Rude Boys and This Club also took to the stage.

FM104 presenters from the Strawberry Alarm Clock, Jim-Jim & Nobby and FM104’s Phoneshow, Adrian Kennedy and Jeremy Dixon hosted the night.

Reflecting on the event, FM104 Programme Director Dave Kelly said, “This was the sixth ‘FM104’s The Gig’ and without doubt, it will be the best one to date. We, at FM104, are really appreciative of all the acts and special guests that performed for free as all proceeds go to FM104’s Help a Dublin Child for the ISPCC. The event raised over €50,000 each year. These are much needed funds to help the ISPCC continue their great work with Dublin kids. “
