Independent radio producers have until midday on Friday 28th June to submit their applications for the latest RTÉ commissions.
Only hard copies will be accepted from registered suppliers, for a number of elements including weekly programmes and daily inserts.
Out of the eight proposals, the biggest earner is a weekly one hour business programme to run from August 2013 at 1000hrs on Saturday mornings on Radio 1, with a budget of €300,000 on offer.
Other highlights include a weekly book programme with a budget of €65,000 and 4×60 minute science programmes at €45,000, both for Radio 1.
No audio is required at the stage and five paper copies are required, all unstapled in a large envelope.
