David Tighe, a former CEO at Radio Nova, 4FM, and Live 95FM has been appointed as chief executive of Independent Radio Sales.
David was also Chairman of the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland for three years, and most recently managing director of Planet Consultants.
He replaces Dan Healy who is now in charge of 2fm.
IRS chairman, Tim O’Keeffe said: “We are delighted that David Tighe has joined IRS as CEO as he is a consummate professional with over 20 years experience in radio at a very senior level and more recently with his work in developing new media and digital strategies worldwide”
