Presenters on Classic Hits 4fm are calling listeners wanting to hear them shout “I wanna be in NYC” when they answer the phone.
The station’s latest competition invites listeners to text in when they hear the Big Apple SFX, and answer the phone correctly to win a place in the draw for a Stateside holiday.
The station says the prize includes flights, top class accommodation and some VIP trips when they get there courtesy of the New York tourist board.
The promotion is sponsored by E-travel.ie and United airlines and they are “delighted” with the promotion so far and have already seen a big interest level on their own sites as a result of it.
The overall winner will be called live on Classic Hits 4FM by Gareth O’Callaghan on his afternoon show this Friday November 1st.
