Liam Thompson to speak at RadioDays event

Today FM and Communicorp Group Programme Director Liam Thompson has been confirmed as a guest speaker at the upcoming Radiodays Europe conference.

The three day event is taking place at the Convention Centre Dublin in March, and already has an impressive line-up including IBI Chairman and KCLR CEO John Purcell and 2fm presenter Rick O’Shea.

Dave Kelly, Group Programme Director (Dublin Operations) at FM104/Q102 will also be on stage.

Also announced today as taking part is Ciarán Murray, President of Community Media Forum Europe (CMFE), Liz Green from BBC Radio Leeds and Chris Kimber, Exec. Product Manager for BBC iPlayer Radio in BBC Future Media.

They join high-profile speakers already announced including the BBC’s Head of Radio Helen Boaden, former BBC Radio 1 Controller Andy Parfitt, Triple M’s Head of Content Mike Fitzpatrick from Australia and Chris Bannon, Vice President Content at WNYC in America.

Radiodays Europe is the largest international radio conference of its kind and had 1200 participants from 50 countries in Berlin 2013. The conference itself will cover a vast range of topics, from the latest digital challenges to new programme formats and inspiring innovations in radio.
