Paddy Power is now taking bets on who will replace KC on the Today FM lunchtime show.
Those in the frame, according to the open market, include Dermot Whelan, Hector O hEochagain, Louise Duffy, Ruth Scott, Ray Foley and even new 2fm breakfast co-hosts Bernard O’Shea and Jennifer Maguire. Keith Walsh doesn’t make it to the top 22 on offer at the moment though.
At the time of writing, Dermot is favourite at 2/1, Hector is 9/2 and Louise is 7/1. The outside favourites on 25/1 are listed as Ronan Collins, Matt Cooper, Ray D’Arcy and Dave Fanning.
Jonathan Healy, one of the 22 listed, tweeted this today: “Brilliant. Paddy Power has me in the running to take over from @KCTodayfm. I’ll dust off my LP collection.”
KC aka Keith Cunningham is off to Red FM to look after programming and host the breakfast show.
