RTÉ is on the lookout for a sponsor to partner up with The Marian Finucane Show, which is broadcast Saturday and Sundays from 11am – 1pm on Radio 1.
The show is currently sponsored by An Post but this ends in a couple of months and a new sponsor is sought for a six or 12 month deal starting in April.
The deal also includes sponsorship of the show podcast.
Marian Finucane’s Saturday Show is Ireland’s third most popular national radio show with 370,000 listeners while Marian’s Sunday Show is the fifth most listened to show with a weekly listenership of 346,000, according to the latest JNLR.
The show started in 1999 after the retirement of Gay Byrne. Marian had moved from her Liveline slot which she had had since the late 1970s.
