First DublinTalks show hits the headlines

The launch day of Adrian Kennedy’s new Dublin Talks show on 98FM has hit tabloid newspapers already surrounding a topical news item.

Adrian Kennedy and producer Jeremy Dixon slammed a post on their Facebook page yesterday, which has attracted media attention, due to the nature of its content.

A teenage boy filmed himself in an alley in North Dublin having sex with a girl, then posted it on Facebook. A link was then posted to the page of the radio presenters.

After the link was removed, the pair posted: “To the young lad who uploaded it…it’s not funny, it’s not smart and you’re an immature t**t. GROW UP and have some respect for yourself and the young girl. This should act as a warning to parents to keep an eye on what your teenagers are doing on social media.”

The post and subsequent posts on the topic has attracted hundreds of responces.

The debate is on-going on 98FM this morning.
