Hear how Phantom 105.2 signed off the air

This is how Phantom 105.2 signed off the air, on the eve of St Patrick’s Day, with a look back at the best bits of the station and one final track from The Frames.

The part-Communicorp-owned station played Revelate as the last song, introduced by the last presenter on the station, Jack hyland. Jack thanked everyone involved in the station over the years and “most of all thanks to you – without you listenin, it would kind of been pointless really wouldn’t it?”

Jack’s final words were Oiche maith agaibh agus slan. Goodnight everybody and goodbye.

Non-stop music is now filling the output, with occasional idents simply saying “105.2”. TXFM is expected to launch within the next two weeks.
