After 43 years on-air reading the news, you’d expect your last bulletin to be somewhat memorable.
But for 65-year old Michael Murphy, it was just another day and the RTÉ Radio 1 news at 1pm on June 29th made no reference to the situation.
We’ve managed to get hold of the bulletin and archive it here forever to mark the occasion, and wish Michael the best for his next move.
