Radio Snowflake teams up with Samaritans

Radio Snowflake has today announced its charity partner for its broadcasts this year.

It’s teamed up with Dublin Samaritans to bring across to its listeners the importance of the work they do by delivering key messages mixed in with an unrivalled mix of Christmas music. The Station has for the past three years linked up with well known charities.

David Hughes from the Dublin Samaritans said ‘Dublin Samaritans is delighted to be Radio Snowflake’s charity for 2014 and is looking forward to working with the Christmas station over the festive season. It’s so important to us as a charity to be able to use this opportunity to let people know about what we do and at an important time of the year’

Head of Public Relations for Radio Snowflake Declan King said: “We are so excited at Radio Snowflake to announce this partnership the station has already touched the hearts of many communities in the last few years and even though it’s not on FM it’s on line presence has a huge impact. The brilliant Nails Mahony and Liam Quigley (Voiceovers) have confirmed their involvement and more well- known names are set to follow. I’m also working closely with well-known programmer David Baker on this project somebody I’ve known for many years. The station will be on air in late November”.
