Following the launch this week of her new RTÉ TV show this week, Claire Byrne’s RTÉ Radio 1 show is seeking a sponsor for the season ahead.
Her new TV programme “Claire Byrne Live”, in which she discusses the political issues of the day with a studio audience, débuted on Monday night on RTÉ One with an emotive discussion on same-sex marriage.
Now the national broadcaster is looking for a sponsor to back Byrne’s Saturday lunchtime radio show on a six or twelve month basis, for which they will get four credited stings during the programme itself and in podcasts, as well as promos during Friday’s News at One and Saturday’s Marian Finucane Show.
“Saturday with Claire Byrne” which reviews the week in Irish political news and shines a light on the likely issues of the week to come, reaches an audience of 202,000 each week.
Potential sponsors can expect to pay €55,000 for a six month deal or €95,000 for a full year.
