Cork’s 96fm & C103 have agreed a deal with CityJet which will see the airline sponsor even more breakfast shows on UTV-owned stations.
The deal coincides with CityJet’s announcement that they will launch a new route from Cork to London City Airport from October 1st with up to 18 flights each week.
The airline teamed up with FM104, 96FM and C103’s sister station in Dublin, just two months ago, in a deal which saw them partnering with the breakfast show “The Strawberry Alarm Clock”.
Now they’ve become the sponsor for both Nick Richards in the Morning on Cork’s 96FM & Cork’s More Music Breakfast with Colum McGrath on C103.
Representatives of the airline and the radio stations were at Cork Airport yesterday to announce the deal.
CEO of Cork’s 96FM & C103 Kieran McGeary said: “We are delighted to partner with CityJet on this fantastic new route for them and the Cork area. We wish them the best of luck with their new Cork to London City route and look forward to helping grow their business”.
Martina McDermott Hurley, Head of Marketing for CityJet added: “Cityjet are delighted to sponsor Nick Richards in the Morning on Cork’s 96FM and Cork’s More Music Breakfast on C103 to support the launch of Cork – London City Airport up to 18 times a week”. She added that the flights start on October 1st and can be booked on the CityJet web site.
