€35,290 raised in 5 days by Classic Hits 4FM
Classic Hits 4FM’s Mission 21 aimed to raise €21k in 5 days but has managed to smash that target, bringing in over €35k.
The money raised is supporting the Down Syndrom Centre’s Mission21.
The station spent a week of fundraising, concluding with The Damian Farrelly Show live from the DSC from 10am – 1pm on the final day (last Friday, 24th March).
In a message on its website, the station said: “Our mission was to raise €21,000 in 5 days from to help the children access these essential services, but thanks to your generosity you surpassed our total by miles. We are so grateful for all your kind donations – so a huge thankyou from all of us at Classic Hits 4FM and the staff, parents and children at Down Syndrome Centre.”
The Centre, Celebrities, & Classic Hits 4fm are asking people to support the campaign by texting DSC to 50300 to donate €4.
