High heels are in for Cork’s 96FM charity run

Incoming 96FM breakfast show host KC, along with Ross Browne, Nick Richards, PJ Coogan and Trevor Welch donned High Heels in a charity run on Friday.

The event took place at the Quad at University College Cork, which came to a standstill as onlookers watched the spectacle of teams of men running in high heels.

The prominent Cork business people and politicians were all taking part in the 2017 Heel Appeal, one of the first events to kick off this year’s Cork’s 96FM Giving for Living Radiothon.

The Radiothon has raised €3.9million over the last nine years. In 2016 alone, it raised €421,000. The Radiothon, which supports cancer services in Cork, will take place for the 10th time on the 25th; 26th and 27th of May.
