2FM’s boss Dan Healy addressed delegates at Radiodays Europe by telling them what he thinks of the advertising agency model.
Dan was part of a session called “Show me the Money” at the conference being held in Vienna this week. He was explaining his thoughts on the future of radio advertising, and shared the view of a previous session which predicts 5G technology will kill DAB, but radio is far from dead.
“The advertising agency model is f**ked,” he said. Dan explained afterwards to Colm Flynn about dwindling advertising revenues:
