We’ve just celebrated six months of operation, as RadioToday.ie officially becomes the most followed radio news site in Ireland.
@RadioTodayIE on Twitter has just passed the 1000 follower mark, giving us more followers in the shortest time than any other radio news site in the country.
In the first six months of reporting, the we’ve published over 250 stories – with unique interviews, photos, viewpoints and even a Podcast, mixed in with bringing the best of industry news from a number of other sources.
The site has benefited from its sister site in the UK, which has been providing radio industry news for almost a decade.
Site founder and editor Roy Martin is pleased with the progress: “As the only site dedicated to providing radio industry professionals with news from inside their stations, I’m very honoured that those working day in, day out in radio choose to follow RadioToday.
“We’ve got some exciting projects lined up for the next six months, including hiring an extra part-time reporter, and would like to thank our advertisers and sponsors so far for making our expansion into Ireland so welcoming.”
The site has thousands of unique visitors every week – a split between regular and new visitors, meaning more and more people are discovering RadioToday.ie all the time.
