Damian Farrelly joins Classic Hits 4FM

Former 2fm and FM104 presenter Damian Farrelly is joining multi-region radio station Classic Hits 4FM.

His first show is on Saturday 9th August, covering for Enda Murphy.

“Damian is one of life’s great radio guys, I worked alongside Damian in FM104 and I am delighted to have him back on the air where he belongs on Classic Hits 4FM,” says Andy Matthews, Programme Director at the Dublin-based station.

“Damian is a perfect fit for us and I know our listeners will love him too. We’ve already seen a tidal wave of listeners come to us from 2FM. They love what we do at Classic Hits and I’m sure they too will welcome Damian to Ireland’s fastest growing radio station.”

He started in RTÉ 2fm in 2000 but left earlier this year. During his time on the station he presented early mornings, lunchtime and weekends. Damian also co-hosted The Frequency with Ruth Scott and hosted his own show – The Damian Farrelly Show.
