This morning RTÉ 2FM’s Breakfast Republic announced the return of The 2FM Xmas Ball, which will take place at 3Arena on Saturday 3rd December, 2016.
Last year’s event raised over €430,000, and RTÉ 2FM and MCD have come together once again to host the Xmas Ball in aid of the ISPCC.
Headliners Kodaline will be joined by Picture This, The Academic, All Tvvins, Brian Deady and Áine Cahill, to perform live on the night.
It will be hosted by all 2FM presenters including Nicky Byrne & Jenny Greene, Eoghan McDermott, Bernard O’Shea, Jennifer Zamparelli and Keith Walsh, Tracy Clifford and more.
Head of RTÉ 2FM, Dan Healy said: “We’re really delighted that we can join with MCD again this year to present the ball and support the ISPCC with this brilliant event. Not only does it give 2FM a great opportunity to support this wonderful charity – it also gives us the opportunity to reinforce our ongoing support of great Irish artists and Irish music. We are full of admiration for the work of the team at the ISPCC. It’s guaranteed to be a great event raising money for a hugely important charity.”
All parties involved with the 2FM Xmas Ball are providing their services free of charge on the night including artists, organisers and 3Arena. The complete funding of the concert goes towards the financial support and aid of the 24 hour phone-line and the ISPCC services dedicated to helping children.
