To mark its birthday today, Radio NOVA is launching the Super 6 – six promotions and giveaways that will run on-air during September and October.
CEO and Programme Director, Kevin Branigan: “We can’t believe we’re six years old already. It literally seems like yesterday that we launched amidst a blaze of publicity with the Guns & Roses tribute band on the Liffey. It’s been a whirlwind six years that has seen us grow our audience to a very healthy 148,000 listeners and our numbers continue to grow and grow!”
NOVA has celebrated its birthday by replaying the launch audio on the station’s Morning Glory breakfast show, with the station’s programming today featuring calls from listeners to wish the station success.
The station was licenced by the BAI in 2009 as a specialist music broadcaster to cover a newly-created franchise area of Dublin city, county and commuter belt.
