A Radio Kerry bingo player has claimed €15,800 in prizes after completing her winning panel with the number 22.
Molly Moriarty from Lispole completed her Radio Kerry Radio Bingo book on Friday 30 October, winning the €15,400 jackpot and the €400 daily prize.
The station described 22 as Molly’s “forever lucky” number. She told the station she had been playing Radio Kerry Radio Bingo for years without a win, and was so surprised by the result that she asked her sister to travel from Ventry to confirm it.
After collecting her cheque at Radio Kerry, Molly said a holiday was first on her agenda.
She is the station’s second jackpot winner of 2026. Another player won €16,800 in March.
Radio Kerry Radio Bingo has been running since May 2021 and supports four local charities: Comfort for Chemo Kerry, Recovery Haven Kerry Cancer Support House, Kerry Cancer Support Group and Kerry Hospice Foundation.
The four charities have shared €519,776 from the game so far, with another distribution of funds scheduled for December 2026. Money raised through bingo book purchases helps support the organisations.
