Midlands 103 is inviting anyone who wants to work in radio to apply for its talent search initiative.
The Tindle station will be giving studio tours and holding auditions at its Mullingar headquarters on Saturday, September 2nd 2017.
And it’s not just radio presenters being sought – here’s a list of other potential jobs both in front of and behind the microphone such as:
News or sport journalist
Commentator/analyst
Advertising or jingle voice artist
Commercial Producer
Sound Engineer
Studio Mixing Desk Operator
Receptionist/Call Screener
Programme Producer or Researcher
Radio Sales Executive
Digital Content Creator
Logistical or administrative roles
Accounts or management
“Midlands 103 is blessed with a committed, talented team in all of the above areas but, as we grow, we love meeting new people,” the station says.
To apply for the talent search, send a cover letter explaining why you would like to work in radio. Be specific about your area of interest and what you can contribute. Prepare an audio demo, if appropriate. Email careers@midlands103.com before August 20th 2017.
A selection of applicants will be invited to the Open Day on September 3rd.
