8Radio.com has returned for another run of FM broadcasts, starting this weekend and lasting for eight weeks.
The station is on-air in three cities – Dublin on 94.3FM, Cork on 106.7FM and Limerick on 105.5FM.
8Radio.com usually broadcasts online seven days a week with specialist music programmes each weeknight evening and live programmes all weekend. The return to FM will be backed by a multi-city poster campaign and online promotional activity.
Simon Maher, one of the founders of Phantom FM, said: “The growth of 8Radio.com has been very encouraging, and we’re delighted to be broadcasting on FM for a second run in Autumn 2014. Our return to FM enables us to showcase the best that 8Radio.com has to offer, and to demonstrate that there is more to good radio than focus groups and algorithms.
“This second run on FM is an opportunity for listeners to find out more about 8Radio.com and to download our Smartphone Apps or listen via the 8Radiocom online player. At 8Radio.com we have found that the the trust we place in our listeners musical opinions is reflected in the trust that our listeners place in us.
