Beat 102-103 has launched a fresh station sound with new imaging voices and a jingle package from ReelWorld.
The new jingles are a reworking of the Kronehit package which launched in 2015, and feature a new three-note sonic logo along with a new logo sing – “This is Beat.” (example below)
Ben Murray – drive presenter on Dublin’s FM104 – is the new male VO, who joins female VO Tara Murray, also a presenter on FM104.
The station sound update follows the launch last month of a new visual logo and website for the regional station.
The new imaging kickstarts a week of celebrations on Beat as its flagship morning show, Beat Breakfast with Niall, Vinny & Trish, celebrates ten years on air.
Leading the project was Beat’s Head of Station Sound, Niall Power, who said “Paul, Anthony & the ReelWorld team know the Beat brand and are as passionate about it as we are. We were delighted to have them on board to create this confident new sound for 2016. It’s an amazing imaging package that will help Beat stand out even more in the marketplace.”
ReelWorld’s Paul Fernley – “Any project involving Gabrielle, Niall and Darren at Beat is always lots of fun. It’s been awesome working on their new jingles, especially as they’ll play a major part in the 10th birthday celebrations for Beat Breakfast with Niall, Vinny and Trish!”
Gabrielle Cummins is C.E.O. and Programme Director with Beat : “We have worked with ReelWorld on various imaging projects over the years but I have to say Paul and the team have particularly nailed it this time. As Beat has continued to grow its impressive listener base, the brand has become bigger and confident in every way so it’s fitting that our fresh, new sound from ReelWorld aptly reflects that in terms of its bigger, bolder presentation. I love it and I’m pretty confident our listeners will too!”
Anthony Gay is ReelWorld’s European Managing Director – “We love it when a client comes back for more from our team. It’s great to be part of Beat’s ever evolving sound!”
