Wireless Group stations C103 and Cork’s 96FM have both unveiled new logos this weekend.
The new branding was seen in public for the first time on Saturday night at the Marketing Institute of Ireland’s Annual Cork Ball. The sister stations were title sponsors of the event as part of a three-year partnership.
The branding was designed by Simply Zesty and will appear on 96FM and C103’s new Streetfleet vehicles which will take to the road this week. An outdoor marketing campaign for 96FM is being rolled out from Monday, including bus backs, 48-sheet billboards and a television ad.
The rebranding has been overseen in-house by Cork’s 96FM and C103’s Sponsorship and Promotions Manager, Elaine Fitzgerald.
Chief Executive of the stations, Kieran McGeary told RadioToday: “This is an exciting time for our two brands. Cork’s 96FM and C103 combined are consistently the most listened-to radio operation in the very competitive Cork market. We continually refresh our on-air product in order to keep it relevant and attractive to the Cork audience we serve.
“This update of our visual branding is appropriate to that and has already been warmly received by Cork’s marketing community.”
