Meghann Scully is set to join the team at Classic Hits to present the specialist show Guaranteed Irish.
The former SPIN Hits presenter has worked for MTV in London, published her first book “Broken Love” and has worked for numerous media organisations across Ireland from radio to TV print and online. She will be bringing her love of the Irish language, passion for music and creativity to Classic Hits.
Meghann joined SPIN South West in May 2016 as Fully Charged Co-Presenter and started on the weekday show SPIN Hits last August before stepping down earlier this year.
Andy Matthews, Classic Hits Programme Director, told RadioToday: “We are delighted to have Meghann join us on Classic Hits, Meghann has the talent, enthusiasm and work ethic we love here and I’m sure she will fit right in.
“Meghann has been tasked with promoting new and classic Irish acts on the station and we are really looking forward to hear what Meghann can do”.
Meghann said “I’m so excited to take over Guaranteed Irish and make my mark on what will be an exciting and interesting show. I love radio and cannot wait to be in the hot seat every Sunday.
