The CEO of Newstalk 106-108FM Frank Cronin has stepped down from his position with immediate effect, to pursue a new business venture.
Frank has been Chief Executive of the talk station since 2009 and is a former chief executive of The Sunday Tribune and Setanta.
In a statement from the station, Lucy Gaffney, the chairman of Communicorp, said: “The board would like to thank Frank for his contribution as a board member and then as CEO of Newstalk.
“We are proud of the development of Newstalk as an important national radio station.”
No news of a replacement has been announced as yet.
