Radio Nova’s Date my Dad comes to a head

Radio Nova’s Morning Glory Show with Joan Lea and Marty Miller has found a date for a dad after a month-long search.

The competition saw father of one, Tom Hendley from Belmayne in Dublin undergo an amazing transformation, including a full makeover, a new wardrobe and even some Tango lessons to get ready for the dating game.

Tom dated three women, Caitriona, Aoibhinn and Elaine, taking them tangoing, cocktail making and even rocking with Jeff Beck at the Olympia. But today on Morning Glory he chose which one he wanted to date again.

Cathriona Tobin from Swords was the winner and Tom thanked all of his dates for a fun week and it seems all four of them have ended up great friends.

Speaking following the reveal presenter Joan Lea said “It’s incredible that two people who were strangers on Monday, seemed so happy together by Friday”.

Marty Miller added “It was evident these two hit it off, right from the get go. Hopefully there will be a longer story out of this. Bring on the bells.”

The final took place on the morning of May 23rd on Radio Nova’s breakfast programme, ‘Morning Glory’, featuring presenters Joan Lea and Marty Miller. Radio NOVA broadcasts to Dublin city, county and commuter belt, including Wicklow, Kildare and Meath.
