Classic Hits 4FM’s Bank Holiday Top 100 countdown

Classic Hits FM is counting down the Top 100 Classic Hits of all time this bank holiday Monday.

The chart countdown, which kicks off at 9am, is compiled from listeners votes over the past 3 weeks – with each vote cast entering them into win a VIP trip to Washington DC with eflights.ie and United Airlines.

PJ and Damian kick off the Top 100, which carries on into Jim McCabe’s show at 11 – and even into shock-jock host Niall Boylan’s afternoon talk show, giving him the chance to talk less and play the hits from 1pm.

The countdown concludes during Gareth O’Callaghan’s afternoon/evening show, with the veteran broadcaster playing the number 1 song as voted by Classic Hits 4FM listeners just before 7pm.

The station’s Programme Director Andy Matthews spoke to Radio Today this morning, saying: “Classic Hits 4FM listeners have voted in their thousands and what is really interesting is there is a completely different top 10 compared to last time we did this over 2 years ago. This is a great day’s radio from start to finish and our guys love it!”
