Cork’s 96FM’s Wall of Cash has a winner

The winner of Cork’s 96FM’s Wall of Cash has been revealed as Siobhan Power from Gurranabraher.

Siobhan has won €10,477.31 in the competition after guessing the correct amount of money stuck to the travelling wall.

For two weeks, listeners to the Wireless Group station were invited to guess how much money was attached to the “Wall of Cash” which was a mobile ad-board which toured the city and county.

Ms. Power’s guess of €10,400 was the nearest unique suggestion. She was surprised when presenters Ken Tobin and P.J. Coogan turned up at her home with the 96FM Streetfleet to deliver the news that she had won and to handover the cheque.

A shocked Siobhan said that she would use the money to do some improvements to her family home as well as a holiday.

She also pledged to donate €1,000 to charity.

Sponsorship & Promotions Manager at Cork’s 96FM, Elaine Fitzgerald said: “The Wall of Cash was another innovative campaign from Cork’s 96FM. We’re delighted with the huge response to it. Siobhan is a great winner and we hope she enjoys her winnings.”
