Dublin’s 98FM is spending half a million Euro on marketing its two anchor shows, The Ray Foley Show and Dermot & Dave.
The station wants to increase awareness of the personalities as radio presenters in addition to their on screen presence.
Cliona Hayes, marketing director at 98FM said: “The general public are familiar with our most popular presenters from their TV shows and appearances particularly Ray Foley who presents ‘Take Me Out’ and Dermot Whelan who presents ‘Republic of Telly’.
“This new campaign aims to ensure listeners make the connection between the on-air presenters and their TV shows. The Ray Foley Show is new to 98FM and while we are getting a great reaction from listeners, this new campaign will ensure more visibility around Ray and Dermot being a key part of 98FM.
Chief executive, Chris Doyle continued: “The Ray Foley Show and Dermot & Dave air during key commuter times, morning and evening, so we have invested significantly in print, outdoor and digital advertising throughout the city and online
“It is key that the station continues to invest in highlighting our fantastic on-air talent.”
