The late Henry Owens has been remembered as the PPI Radio Awards got underway in Kilkenny, where the Irish radio industry gathered for the annual bash.
The first award of the evening went to Today FM’s Ian Dempsey who was given a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Ocean FM and Today FM took home the most Golds with five each, followed by FM104 with four and 98fm with two. In total, RTÉ won six and the BBC got three.
