Robbie Fogarty will be stepping down from his morning show on Classic Hits 4FM to concentrate on his management and music duties.
He is currently Deputy Programme Director and Head of Music at the station, and has been on-air in the morning slot for over three years.
This paves the way for exiting-breakfast show presenter Jim McCabe to get his much anticipated lie-in and move to the 10am till 1pm slot.
Robbie will announce to his listeners at 9:55am today about his changes, and news of a new breakfast show should be revealed on-air Monday morning at 8:30am.
In a memo to station staff this morning, Programme Controller Andy Matthews thanked Robbie for his dedication: “I would like to personally thank Robbie for his hard work and dedication over the past 3+ years in the 10 to 1 slot and in that time Robbie has consistently been our best performing presenter in the super contested Dublin market – no easy feat, well done Robbie!”
