98FM offer €5,000 prize to listeners who “create 98”

Dublin’s 98FM are giving away a cash prize of €5,000 to the listener who creates what they judge to be the best photograph of Dublin which features the station’s name.

As part of their recently launched “Made of Dublin” marketing campaign, which saw them recently launch new ads which featured Dublin landmarks instead of presenters, the Communicorp-owned station are looking for listeners to find or create 98FM in their everyday surroundings.

Photos should be obviously of Dublin, but should have the station’s name included somehow – as in the example above, with “98FM” written in the sand and the iconic Poolbeg chimneys in the background.

To enter, you can post your photo to twitter or instagram using the hashtag #madeofdublin – or if you’re not on twitter or instagram, you can submit it by email. The submitted images will be featured in the unique map of Dublin on the station’s web site, and the one judged to be the best will win the €5,000 prize.
