A new digitral radio advertising platform which places audio ads across the best music streaming platforms and local radio brands in one single buy has been launched by advertising network AdForce.
Vodafone is the first advertiser within the Irish marketplace to embrace this new technology with the launch of their new “Superfast 4G” campaign which launches this week via Media Agency MEC, and includes pre-roll & in-stream audio ads with synchronised display across a selection of premium radio publishers.
Adforce, who built and designed RTÉ’s “News Now” mobile apps, were established in 2009 and say they “specialise in digital advertising and publishing, helping customers both profit from the opportunities and triumph over the challenges offered by the rapidly changing world of digital media”.
Commenting on the partnership Kevin Foley, Sales Director of Adforce.com said: “We are very excited to launch in conjunction with AdsWizz this new innovative platform which will complement the current radio offering available in Ireland. Unlike traditional radio, what makes this significant is that brands can now target listeners by geographic location, time of day, user demographics, listening device and context, while providing a much deeper layer of accountability and real time reporting. We believe that the digital audio advertising market is poised for rapid growth over the coming 24 months”
Vodafone’s Brand & Communications Manager Orlaith Fortune said: “We’re delighted to be the first brand in Ireland to team up with Adforce.com to use this innovative and exciting technology as part of our new campaign to celebrate that Vodafone Superfast 4G is now across over 90% of the country”.
Catherine Kearns, Account Director on Team Red MEC said: “There is no denying that radio remains a key media choice for Irish consumers. However, it is clear that consumers are now listening to radio in new ways across multiple devices. With the rapid growth of 4G, high levels of mobile and tablet usage we see digital audio advertising as an effective way of reaching this highly engaged audience.
