Local Dublin station 98FM have relaunched their web site at 98FM.com

The site, which received its new look in the past week, now puts the main focus on the current top news story and presents a mixture of show podcasts, trending videos & entertainment stories and news articles in its “Featured” section on the home page.

The updated 98FM.com also includes an enhanced player applet at the top of every page which keeps playing when you browse between pages on the site, tells you what song is currently playing and includes information on the current, previous and next shows.

The player also features a “progress bar” which shows how far through the current show is, and it allows users to listen back to shows and podcasts or add them to their own personalised “My Queue” for later listening.

The new-look site has a full “on air” section dedicated to the station’s programme schedule, which features all-new black and white photos of the presenters on their sixteen male and two female-fronted (Muireann O’Connell – weeknights from 7 – 9pm and Louise Heraghty – Sunday mornings from 6 – 9am) shows.
