92.5 Phoenix FM celebrates women’s voices
92.5 Phoenix FM is all about women today with a 12-hour celebration of all things female.
The Dublin community station will host 12 hours of programming in honour of International Women’s Day 2018. With international live links with other community radio stations, the day’s line-up will be a celebration of the women of the airwaves around the world.
Each of the regular programmes will have a specifically feminine flavour as the women of Phoenix take to the microphones to host each show.
The celebration kicked off with D15 Today which has a guest line-up of successful and inspirational women who discussed women’s rights on a local, national and international level.
For the daily women’s hour “Women 2 Women” the station will be joined by former Tanaiste and current Dublin West TD Joan Burton, Mayor of Fingal County Council, Blanchardstown Mary Mc Camley, and Independent Cllr Tania Doyle who will be discussing the 100 year anniversary of the women of Ireland winning the right to vote.
