Radio Kerry has hired two new members to the on-air and training teams.
Former Kerry Footballer Sean O Sullivan will join the Radio Kerry’s Sports Department while Eoghain Fitzgerald, formerly Assistant Programme Director and Afternoon Show presenter at Spin South West, joins Radio Kerry as Manager of its Training Centre.

Gary O Sullivan, who has been at the helm for the past 15 years, has decided to take a step back from a full time role with the station but will be continuing with some match commentary.
Speaking about his new role Sean O Sullivan said, “I’m really looking forward to becoming the new host of weekend sports on Radio Kerry. I have always been a big fan of the show and really can’t wait to get started. I’d like to thank everyone at Radio Kerry for the opportunity and I hope to bring my energy, enthusiasm and of course my knowledge of sport to the role’”.
Eoghain Fitzgerald will take over the role of Radio Kerry Training Centre manager from John Herlihy, who has left to take up a role with the Kerry Education and Training Board (ETB).
Eoghain is a former PPI Radio Award Winner and brings extensive knowledge of the media industry to the role. Radio Kerry Training runs media courses in association with Kerry ETB and the National Digital Skills Centre at Monavalley, Tralee.
“I’m delighted to have the opportunity to take on the role of Radio Kerry Training Centre Manager. It’s great to have the chance to use my knowledge and experience of radio and digital media to help in the development of new talent”.
Radio Kerry General Manager Fiona Stack said that both Sean and Eoghain will bring huge knowledge, experience and insights to their new roles and everybody in Radio Kerry looks forward to having them on board.
