Darren Regan moves to Drive at SPIN South West

SPIN South West has appointed Darren Regan as Assistant Programme Director and drive-time presenter.

Darren has been a presenter on SPIN South West for five years, having covered weekend shows, TRL and most recently the Zoo Crew weekday evenings where he presented alongside co-presenter Valerie Wheeler. He now takes on the coveted drive-time slot while also covering the role of Assistant Programme Director for the station.

Speaking on the appointment, SPIN South West’s Station Manager and Content Director Nessa McGann told RadioToday: “I’m delighted that SPIN South West have appointed Darren Regan as the new SPIN its presenter on the station. Darren started out on our online station FRQ FM and has been with us since 2013. We’re the No.1 station for music in the South West and our SPIN Hits show is a key programme for us.

“Darren is a very solid presenter with great experience and we’re lucky to have him. It’s great to grow talent within the station and bring our people on within our group, Communicorp Media.
