iRadio is making some changes to its on-air schedule for 2019, with new presenters on mornings, drive and evenings.
Michaela Hayes moves from the evening show after five years to host the morning show iWork.
Michaela says “I’m so excited to be taking over iWork – we’ll have the best music everyday while you work, with loads of chances for you to win… it’ll be nice to be on air in daylight too!”
IRL, which airs weeknights from 6pm will also have a new presenter in Sharron Lynskey.
Drivetime on iRadio is also being freshened up, with a new presenter for The Lift – as Dave Duke joins long serving host Fionnuala Corbett for a fresh new sound in 2019.
Dave has been hosting iRadio’s The Hub for the last two years. “This is a huge step for me personally, and it’s a testament to the faith iRadio has placed in me,” Dave said.
“I’m really looking forward to working with Fionnuala every day, bring it on 2019!”
Another of iRadio’s long-serving weekend presenters, Louise Clarke, will also join the revamped weekday line up. Louise will take charge of the nightly show The Hub from Sunday to Thursday.
Louise has been hosting iRadio’s Sunday evening show iRadio’s First Play, which also gets a brand new time slot on Friday nights.
iRadio CEO Mark Cunning is delighted with the revamped schedule and tells RadioToday: “We’re really excited about the ideas, enthusiasm and the innovation Michaela, Sharron, Dave and Louise will bring the line up in 2019.
“We’ve been working really hard on stamping a fresh new sound on iRadio over the last number of months, and we think this line up really compliments the direction we’re heading in.”
iRadio’s new weekday on air schedule from January 21st will be as follows:
