The latest competition on Q102 sees the station offer listeners the chance to ‘Live like a New Yorker’, with the final taking place today.
The UTV station teamed up with Multitrip.com for the big-prize giveaway, which includes United Airlines flights, four nights in the Beacon Hotel in Manhattan, $1000 and an iPad mini from the Apple Store in New York.
The mechanic to win was a ‘cue to text’ for a chance to guess on-air which landmarks where pairs in a download-able grid.
Dave Kelly, Goup Programme Director (Dublin Operations) at UTV told RadioToday: “We are delighted to be working again with Multitrip.com.com who are big supporters of Dublin’s Q102.
“We believe that these days people want to win this sort of prize and the unbelievable responce to the competition shows that we have remained in tune with or audience.”
UPDATE: The final took place in the Gresham Hotel on O’Connell Street in Dublin and the winner was Martina Finn” from Portmarnock.
