Vogue Williams joins SPIN for a Party

Recent imaging and logo changes at SPIN 1038 and Spin South West have coincided with some new programmes at the stations.

Model and DJ Vogue Williams has a new House Party show, sponsored by Miller Genuine Draft which kicks off this Saturday at 9.45pm.

Spin 1038 has also been gradually introducing changes to the on air schedule over the past few months since the arrival of Cormac Moore and Daniella Moyles, taking over the Zoo Crew in September, and more recently newly recruited weekend talent in the form of Blathnaid Treacy, Graham O’Toole and Nathan O’Reilly.

Remarking on the changes, Spin CEO Jamie Crawford, who has worked with the station since its inception, says, “Spin is now so much more than just a radio station, it’s a multimedia brand and has been evolving in this way for quite a while now so it was an easy transition for us to change our logo and our sound on air to reflect our new position. Our listeners have grown up with the station, as a result our core audience is now mid to late 20’s but our research shows that they still want to remain connected with what’s on trend through multiple platforms. We have the biggest social media footprint of any media brand in the country and our website is averaging 2.5 Million Page Impressions a month so this new approach and ethos was a natural progression for our brand.”

Fully Charged Breakfast presenter, Tracy Clifford, who has worked with the Spin team for almost 10 years, commented, “Once again Spin 1038 is bringing fresh innovative ideas to Irish radio. It’s great to be a part of something brand new and our new style will keep all our listeners up to date of what’s happening and trending. Here’s to new Spin! Exciting times ahead for both us presenters and our listeners! ”

New jingles have been introduced by London-based IMGR and the logo is now live.
