Today FM’s annual charity event Shave or Dye has taken place this afternoon in Dublin, with 257 people either shaving or dying their heads.
The much publicised event has been raising money for the Irish Cancer Society since 2010 and has so far raised over €4.5 Million. It broke the record previously set in 2011.
The station thanked people for taking part on their Facebook page: “You are amazing people. All 257 of you! World Record Smashers! And to the rest of our listeners, thank you for coming along, giving us your heads, texting, buying the single, supporting Shave or Dye all the way. Yiz are bleeding’ rapid!!!!”
