Dublin South FM to host 2015 Community Radio Feile

The 2015 Craol Community Radio Feile is being hosted by Dublin South FM, with the dates provisionally set at June 5th to 7th next year.

The Dundrum-based station will host the annual Community Radio Féile event next year – following in the footsteps of CRY104FM in Youghal, Co. Cork, who did the honours in 2014 and the recently closed West Dublin Access Radio in 2013.

The Feile is seen as an important event for community stations across the country as it offers an opportunity for staff and volunteers to come together and share experience, skills and knowledge through specially designed workshops along with networking events.

Planning is already underway for these workshops, in every area of community radio from Technical to Governance, Funding to Programming. There will also be a special theme this year of ‘Supporting Women in Broadcasting’ with a number of activities directly addressing this theme.
