RTÉ Radio 1’s Arena will present an outdoor broadcast live from the Ark stage in Meeting House Square, Temple Bar as part of the support RTÉ is giving to Culture Night.
The specially extended three hour show kicking off at 7pm will see feature a mix of interviews, music, poetry, drama and comedy with musical accompaniment from the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
Now in its tenth year, Culture Night comprises hundreds of events across Ireland and overseas as arts and cultural organisations open their doors until late with hundreds of free events, tours, talks & performances. Culture Night takes place this year on Friday September 18.
In addition, RTÉ News will be reporting live from the cultural celebrations and pop-up performances right around the country.
