Ray D’arcy’s Media Company makes €150K loss

The media production company owned by RTÉ’s highest-paid star Ray D’arcy has reported accumulated losses of almost €150,000.

The 50-year-old radio presenter, who reportedly earns around €500,000 per annum and is to take over the Saturday night TV talk show next month at RTÉ, owns a 95% stake in Whatnext Productions Limited.

The media firm recorded accumulated losses of €148,259 last year.

D’arcy’s wife Jenny Kelly has also been a director of the company since December 2014.

The company’s creditors were owed €158,459, almost all of which related to taxes comprised of  VAT and PAYE.
